The strange thing is that when it comes to serial killer type scary movies like “seven” or “Hannibal” it’s nothing that seems that bad but when it comes to movies like “Exorcist” and “The Ring” they just bring chills down my spine.:no::no:

Oh I think there’s a movie called “Amityville Horrors” that is based on real events and that’s another movie that would like to see but would never think of it.

Seven and hannibal they are more of a suspense & thriller kinda movies…i woudnt consider them horror movies… you should watch Amityville horror …i asure you it wont send chills down your spine.

Guys we should make a club of horror movie fans. I'm up for it. I myself a big horror movies junkie even though i get super scared ....but i still love to watch all types of horror movies.....Ring and grudge no doubt stand s top of list but the very first movie scared me was an indian movie Purana Mandir and right after that i watched the Exorcist.... I'm waiting for 1408 to come on DVD.

oh I remember that too.
I was so scared after watching that movie plus we have stairs in our house...oh man i was scared to death going up/down stairs at night.

are you saying that Amityville Horrors sucks? I think it’s the 1970s version that’s better but still i’m not watching it. It’s not happening! What is it with these satanic/supernatural horror movies that I somehow want to watch just out of curiosity but then after I watch them it’s nightmare central .

^^ LOL…i feel your pain bro. I suffered with the same trauma for a long time…but still loved the movie.

One is *Purani Haweli **because I was really young at the time and was watching that movie alone in the dark (no one was at home) and stopped the movie in the middle and ran outside and then continued the movie the next morning in the daylight. In it, there is this pregnant woman and her husband driving when they stop by a haunted Haweli and she gives birth to a jinn*. The rest as you might guess is history.

• Grudge is another good one.
• Exorcist is also scary (both of them; Exorcist the beginning and this other one). *]Another scary one is Amityville horror.

9.) Arachnaphobia
10.) House of a 1,000 Corpses

Watch some of these and get scared

*Mercenary .....apni apni pasand ki baat hai....but to be really honest..if your get scared by watching above mentioned movies.......only then we'll have to redefine the definition of horror movies.....Cuz to me the movies u mentioned falls more into a thriller genre than horror...after watching these movies you dont get the idea tha .." dude what if and alien or a zombie going to show up from my closet"...but u can definetly imagine after watching a haunted movie that some spirit can come out anytime and haunt you at night or there is something crawling in your attic or what if a dead girl standing behind you while your watching ring...etc etc *
