To be fair to artists they are human beings after all and some fans (both Pakistani and Indian) have an inherent tendency ('beemariā probably is a better word) of bringing someoneās religion/upbringing or politics/Kashmir into every discussion and if you do that, then be prepared to hear harsh words in response (by even decent educated people) because you really deserve it imo. Go and read some of the comments on youtube and facebook after the final. They are utterly filthy and classless.
A bit of banter is fine though.
