The Massgraves: Victims of Saddam's Regime

NOOOOOooooo,
Lajawab is right. Hey, which Muslim country other than Iran tried to take on Reagan supported Iraqi regime? Who else would dare when my country, the US, practically went to war on Saddam's behalf - gave him weapons, anthrax and so on. Ironically so did the Kuwaiti's.
I do not like to say there is any one entity alone blamable for what Suddam did. But believe me when the south rebelled and confederacy wanted to succeed (like the Khurds during Gulf war and Shia during Iran-Iraq war), they were also wiped out, killed and burned to ground. And there noses were wiped in dirt for decades afterwards. Taxes were raised till they became unpayable and then their properties were confiscated. they basically lost everything.
Not much different from what Saddan did. Even today few people dare to openly go against the White house. Even journalists are scared in this great bastion of free speech.
Use of chemicals on own citizens, that has happened here also.
Black were, without their knowlwdge or consent, injected with radioactive materials to study the effects - in Iraq? No, here in the US of A.
Since childhood, I have heard my dad oppose the Saddam regimes acts.
And Iranians were always there to help out when ever needed - in Somalia, Bosnia, Afghanistan, Uzbec ...
Final thought Iraq without his excellency Saddam IS a better place. And will be great as soon as our occupation ends. Specially if we don't succeed in looting the country's natural resources - oil wealth.
Please do not think our governments policy reflects what most Americans think. But it is important to keep what Saddam did and what US is doing separate both were and are wrong. Human lives (theirs or our) are far more precious to expend for cheap oil.
