The man who sold Pakistan

Re: The man who sold Pakistan

Very nice article. Good to see that more people are understanding naive simplistic interpretations of that Taliban ally, Imran. While everyone knows what SOB Nawaz is, Imran gave people hope, and now he is a pied piper who is taking them down the abyss.
what more could anyone need to prove his alliance with Taliban, when Taliban themselves nominated him to become their representative?
Clearly, they trust him. Clearly, Imran and his party represents that extremist khariji cult.

pakistan currently is in total control of Wahhabi state of Saudi usurpers of Hejaz. Their princes are routinely arriving in Pakistan for dialogs. First it was thought that these visits are regarding Musharraf. But now it is obvious that they were regarding negotiations with Taliban.
the Wahhabi coterie is in total command of the country, and is now working to implement where Nawaz Saudi left Pakistan when he was thrown away in 1999. All people in these committees are from Wahhabi school. There is no representation of any Sunni, Shia or Christian community, even though they are the ones who suffered most at the hands of that khariji cult of Taliban.

Even when Taliban refuse to acknowledge Pakistani constitution, the Saudi zealots like Nawaz, Samiul Haq, and Imran are calling Taliban demands 'positive'.

Re: The man who sold Pakistan

You don't have to meet IK to know that he is Taliban apologist. He is on TV defending terrorists everyday & Cyril rightly called him out for it.

Re: The man who sold Pakistan

People are right in claiming that people like NS also cater to the Taliban to some degree. I don't think IK is an extremist, just naive and not very politically adept. Either that or he's coaxing the religious wing into supporting him so that he can get into power and deal with the Taliban then. That would be smart politically, although as we're seeing, people aren't happy with that tactic (employed by both IK and NS).

IK does get some unfair criticism but he also invites it with his simplistic rhetoric. He also gets undue praise from a more than substantial part of the PTI base, who insist on treating him as some kind of saviour, a la Obama in 2008. They are all politicians. Just human. IK has faults like everyone else. I would vote for him before others but let's not pretend that he is the be all, end all for Pakistan.

Re: The man who sold Pakistan

Imran id definitely wrong when it comes to speaking straight and not creating a firewall of ifs and buts around his position. We have the verdict of the APC which mandated the government to go ahead with talks. Yet it is only Imran who is held responsible for the entire mess.

The problem is that have started to find refuge and solace in supporting talks and asking for military operation simultaneously, which is a contradiction in terms. If I say let us have dialogue which is an exercise in futile, I will be termed as true Pakistani. But if I say let us have dialogue, without appending the military action tag line, I am termed a Taliban apologists.

Re: The man who sold Pakistan

Did Britain hand over N. Ireland to IRA while "talks" happened between them up to and including Good Friday agreement? There is one thing that army shouldn't be the regular police everyday, but I have yet to see imran say that army should be at border with afghanistan, but instead he says that army should completely withdraw from FATA.

Re: The man who sold Pakistan

^ Could you please give me a link to his statement?

Meanwhile, you may like to see this: Imran Khan open to army operations if Taliban talks fail

Re: The man who sold Pakistan

Which one? statements about england and their rules or withdrawing from FATA?

Capital Talk would be a good place to start... ;)

These … think that this is the way to please the God , They are actually afraid of their sins and crimes .

Re: The man who sold Pakistan

You have to admit - PTI doesn't have a militant wing and their hands are not dirty in robbing and looting and murders, and sealing off public roads to protect themselves, and all that jazz. They may not be perfect, and they may be fighting against an uphill battle, but they're still nowhere near corrupt as the other "democratic" parties.
