Though I am not a “liberal” per se (don’t like or consume alcohol or worship BBZ) but I, like many others, can offer a solution to this impasse. Pity is that PTI won’t listen to it just like jiyalas don’t listen to logic but bhuttogic above everything else.

What is the solution? Army certainly didn’t ask for Imran’s permission when they conducted an operation in FATA two/three weeks ago, nor army was anywhere to be seen when people were dying because of multiple suicide blasts per day. So don’t you think all these attention seeking efforts are actually going to waste. The army certainly doesn’t give a hoot about what these writers moan about. It took someone like Munawar Hassain to say something so stupid and inflammatory for army’s spokesperson to appear on twitter. You know what, people should actually thank Munawar Hassan, if it wasn’t for him, people of Pakistan would’ve never realised that their army has a full time employed spokesperson who also has a twitter account. What a massive revelation that was, at least for me.
