Why ruin a thread on an umcoming talent on something someone else said. Yes, I read that comment but more importantly I read the whole article and it's nice to know Asif's abilities are appreciated by many people and not just Pakistani's. He has just started his international career, a couple of tests and a couple of odi's and he has shown enough promise in a little time that people have started calling him an integral part of Pakistani bowling line up. Let's talk about that and not about the one line comment by Miandad.

I think Asif has it to become one of the great bowlers...bowls a great line like Mcgrath...to me, he is destined for something BIG....My best wishes with him, (though it will invariably mean that India will be at the receiving end..!!)...
But, my cricket sense tells me that I should enjoy his arrival and his bowling...Great to see him bowl out the "strong" batting line up with seam and swing rather than using other means such as chucking and/or abusing people...
