Playing semantics is a weak comeback even for you. But I think I have amply proved (and you have failed to counter) the fact that those politicians who hide under the PML (N) banner were avid supporters of the government of COAS-President Zia, right upto his death in 1988. What did you refer to the PML senior leader Raj Zafarul Haq as earlier?
Please tell us the services that Nawaz Sharif rendered to the government of COAS-President Zia if you can, before I have to dig out some quite (obvious) links?
So you are conceding that for five years from 1977 to 1982 the JUI supported General Zia’s military coup against ZAB, defended all his extra-constitutional actions i.e. suspending the constitution, disssolution of the elected assemblies and martial law etc etc, his victimisation of the Pakistan People’s Party? After all you did say earlier the JUI in fact joined the Zia cabinet…
Plus, we all know what the JI, another major component of the MMA was doing for Zia as late as 1984, don’t we?
Sorry not some, but almost all the opponents are doing it out of political conveniance. You yourself conceded that one half of the opposition i.e. the PML (N) and PPP-P are opposing it out of mere conveniance, when you stated I also don’t agree with the PML(N)'s stance or for the PPP who would probably validate the LFO in total if Nawaz and BB were let of the hook
Now I have asked you repeatedly about the motives the other half of the so-called opposition i.e. the MMA, and you have failed repeatedly to answer the question obviously knowing the answer you do not want to admit? The MMA parties (just like when they were supporting COAS-President Zia) will support the LFO and Mushrraf as the COAS-President if the governmet accepts their Islamic agenda. So I have provided you the links to answer the question for you.

How politically conveniant of them, huh?
That was not the question I asked, but again you are failing to address the question I posed to you about you pondering the issue about the military intervening to aid the Supreme Court against Nawaz Sharif. Where was the 1973 constitution, and all the pillars and institutions of constitutional rule to defend democracy?
I have asked this question for clarification because you have given contradictory statements about this point, and other points throughout this thread- that is why I am quoting your very words in this thread. In your post you stated that My beliefs with regard to the LFO are somewhere closer to what the MMA’s. Does that mean that you support 27 of the 29 clauses of the LFO i.e. 95% of it like the MMA now does in it’s public statements, and the continuation of Musharraf as a COAS-President for a determined timeframe?
A simple yesor no should suffice to answer this question.
