Movies I watched recently:
Suspiria. An artsy horror film. And it was an utter waste, too. Blech.
A Simple Favor. A neo-noir movie. Seamless marriage of humor and darkness.
Pari. It was a pretty decent horror movie. I appreciate that it wasn’t overdone.
Kahani 2. I liked this a lot better than Kahani 1.

The last movie that I watched was The Possession of Hannah Grace. My friend and I were literally the only two ( losers… I guess? ) in the theater. But we have a penchant for creepy stuff so we couldn’t resist. That bongi movie had to be watched. It had crap ratings, too. And to make matters worse, friend loved it. Even went as far as raving about it. I, on the other hand, got put off when I realized that the possessed girl had enough “shakti” (quwwat/taaqat) in her to mentally lift grown men off their feet hurl them into a wall, but yet she couldn’t break out of her chains. Like WTH? I still slept with the light on though. ~blush~
