Re: The Kahanists -- Israel's militant far right
I dont support Hamas and the bombing of innocent civilians. Israel has outlawed the kahanists because they can afford to; they have the IDF.

Yes, for the love of God, please let’s post it for the world to see so you can stop mentioning it in every thread. Let’s also ask mods to repost some of your hateful and racist rants. Get a life.
Re: The Kahanists -- Israel's militant far right
Isnt it surprising that the same pople who search for root causes and the like expect others to condemn a similar terrorist organisation. Why dont we do a root cause analysis for these idiots tooo

Kahanists and Hamas, a brief intro:
Kach was a right-wing Israeli party led by Rabbi Meir Kahane. After his assassination in 1990, it split into two movements, Kach and Kahane Chai, literally Kahane lives. This article will deal with all three groups.
Kach
Meir Kahane’s Kach had two main items on its political agenda. The first was the forced transfer of all Arabs from the borders of Israel, including Israeli citizens. The second was the establishment of a Jewish theocracy. It first ran in the Israeli parliament, the Knesset in 1974, only three years after Kahane’s arrival to Israel. It failed to attract the minimum votes (at the time, one percent) in 1973, 1977 and 1981. It finally entered the Knesset in 1984 and Kahane was its only representative.
This caused a significant counterreaction in the Israeli public, and in 1985 Basic Law: the Knesset (basic laws are Israel’s equivalent of a constitution) was altered to disallow parties which
* Negate the existence of Israel as a Jewish and democratic state;
* Preach racism;
* Support the armed struggle of an enemy state or a terrorist organization against the state of Israel.

Hamas, the main Islamist movement in the Palestinian territories, was born soon after the previous intifada erupted in 1987.
The organisation opposes the Oslo peace process and its short-term aim is a complete Israeli withdrawal from the Palestinian territories.
Hamas does not recognise the right of Israel to exist. Its long-term aim is to establish an Islamic state on land originally mandated as Palestine - most of which has been contained within Israel’s borders since its creation in 1948.
The grass-roots organisation - with a political and a military wing - has an unknown number of hard-core members but tens of thousands of supporters and sympathisers.
It has two main functions:
* It is involved in building schools and hospitals in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, and in helping the community in social and religious ways.
* The military wing of Hamas - known as the Izzedine al-Qassam Brigades - has carried out a series of bloody attacks against Israeli targets.

Yeah give palestinian F-16s, Apaches and Abrams and they will also use the not to civilized methods of waging a war, i.e. using 2000 lbs bombs to kill one man, while killing scores of others in the process…indiscriminate and belligerant targeted killings based on mere suspicion, which always result in innocent civilians get killed…Bulldozing houses of Palestinians on such noble reasons as to allow the settlers better view…
The occupation came first…Therefore, end the occupation and terrorism will end too…
