I have not read the entire story because it’s a load of BULL Cr**. That’s why I hate fiction. Haven’t seen a Pakistsni wife being cheated at and not exploding with anger the moment she finds out. And a mother who would be all “smiling” coming up with what this story says. WTF huh!!!

the above is all Indian star plus / GEO crap. So now the plaque of utter nonsense has reached this site too.

These type of things are fairly common. If not the cheating, but the stay in a rut kind of marriage. And yes, while working, education etc of the wife does matter, it’s not the be all end all of a good marriage, otherwise there would be no divorces in the western world. Regarding the mom, I don’t know but I have heard it fairly enough that women should compromise and not complain and not think of divorce. This from well educated, working women living in the West ( not ABCDs).

See this makes me angry NOT at the men though but our women. This is why you must secure your present and future YOURSELF. As long as you expect another person to carry your weight, decisions will always be made for you not by you. Did it matter that you have his child? Did it matter that you gave up your dreams? Did it matter that you cooked and cleaned day and night? Did you get compensated for it? NO. You sealed your faith the day you handed him your rasta of rozi roti. This is why I hate assigned gender roles. In our society, a woman loses her identity completely after marriage while her man finds another one if he is bored.

the problem is that along with this financial independence, both men and women need to have the skills to handle differences when they arise in a mature way.
so instead of the guy becoming all defensive and saying, “Oh you make your own money that’s why you are fighting me on XYZ issue.” He needs to be able to say, “I want to understand why you want XYZ to be handled in this way cuz I don’t get where you are coming from.”
and instead of the woman thinking, “Oh he’s intimidated by my ability to fend for myself and so he’s got a chip on his shoulder and he’s not doing right by me,” she needs to be able to say, “We’re both on the same team and we are both working towards the same goals. Let me try to understand why he’s doing what he’s doing.”

Main..samajh layn..girr kay seekha hon ye baat…lekin seekha zaroor hon. How important is to analyze from other side of the coin when you’re in relationship. Both for Men and Women. And you only know this..when you were either in some sort of martial relationship or still are in relationship.

This can’t be real. Most wives and their mothers dont deal well with the infidelity. A few cases that I have known - did not end well for the guy.

Only two outcomes are reasonable and possible. Public humiliation and physical injury.

She was the wife and mother of his child and caretaker of his family and home. The Pakistani wife is not to be touched or spoken to; the ideal Pakistani wife stands silently and submissively by her husband because they both know that she needs him more than he needs her.

So much contradiction in our society and culture isn’t it?
The first line should be enough to prove that he needs her more than she needs him but alas…

I guess I was assuming that nobody can care for a child in the way that the biological mother would.
But yes…money can buy almost any convenience.
