The English language in the contemporary form has some limitations … there are the following options … he, she or it … “It” is the neutral gender and technically the dhameer “hoo” which Allah (SWT) refers to Himself (intentional written ) by is generally meant as “he or it” and as with “hiya” which means “she or it” - However in Arabic there is a big difference in Aaqil and Ghair Aaqil and Allah (SWT) is Aaqil of course … it is also considered bad adab to refer to Allah (SWT) as “it” …

In archaic English and generally understood grammar “he” can also be used to refer to a person of unknown gender … or where the generic pronoun is being invoked. Hence within the language of English there is a somewhat fitting place for the dhameer to have a loosely attributed pronoun equivalent from the Arabic.

We use a distinction … “He” represents Allah (SWT) and “he” represents all other “males” and things despite being called “he” in Arabic or “she” in Arabic are translated as “it”. That is the convention and that is acceptable to me and many people including scholars who come before me. If you look back at my post I should using “He” - i.e. capitals for refering to Him … (Allah (SWT)).
