So back to the topic. Why are they calling it God particle ? What it has to do with answering the question about how this universe was created ? I tried but did not find any plain English explanation of why is it called God particle ?
One article said : “The Higgs boson has nothing to do with God. It was simply a snappy term to illustrate the ubiquitous effect of the Higgs field, and its importance in determining mass.”

If it is true then why it is still called God particle ?

The reason that I can think of why it was called the “God particle” is because of only one simple concept … that it is what gives the characteristics to all types of particle, being the conduit for everything … This idea of God - i.e. Being the Source is just too simplistic and dogmatically problematic because this particle is inferior to what it enables because it can’t itself exist very long if indeed it does exist at all - the maths show that it does exist or rather the maths are configured in a way that something in that capacity needs to exist in order to explain the exchange processes.
