Its with every other city of Sindh. Shikarpur is now considered as something backward. 'Shikarpur se to nahin aae' is just a taunt to make someone realise that he/she is backward. But the city got rich history. Once compared with European cities, the city was a center for education. The city produced people like Shaikh Ayaz. There was a documentary series on Door Darshan about Sindhi Hindus who migrated to India and their contribution and many people belonged to Shikarpur

There are some prominent Hindus temples in Sindh as well . Hope people have not forgotten it or do not have selective amnesia when posting pictures. :D

I think it is more due to corrupt selfish Bhutto family.

Bhutto family has got nothing to do with the current plight of Sindh.I would say it is a self inflicted one.

If you are from Karachi,you would have niticed Swami Narayan Mandir(Opp:K.M.C)…M.A Jinnah road… Every year our Hinglaj Yatra begins from there only… In the month of April..
Again there is a Hanuman temple in Soldier Bazar… Also a sea side temple(Cliftton).There are other prominent temples as well.
