We won thanks to the bowlers but once again it was n't a convincing batting performance by Pakistan
170+/- should be the benchmark in T20Is
It seems we are a 140+/- and 220+/- batting team in T20Is and ODIs respectively

While the bowlers were great lets not forget that without Misbah's and Malik's batting we would have lost the match. hats off to both of them. Others batsmen should take note. The new opener was encouraging, lets see how he performs in the next two matches. Hammad should have been given the opportunity to bowl.

Agreed both batted quite sensibly. At 73/5, I had my worst fears about this being another lop-sided contest.
The worrying thing though, is that Malik given the kind of form he's in, may already have played his once in a blue moon innings for the series
There are rumours that Misbah might be dropped from the Asia Cup squad. That w'd be a stupid move and an overreaction to the one-day defeats (batting simply is not good enough). We can afford to play two consolidators (Asad and Misbah) in the limited overs format but the rest of the batters should be one-day/T-20 specialists IMO. Time to give more opportunities to players such as Ahmed Shehzad, Nasir Jamshed, Awais Zia, Hammad and Shahzaib in the ODIs.
