Yes, I think it would be much more prudent if we read The Kite Runner and Lolita as bed-time stories to the little ones. They should learn from the get-go that love can be twisted and imperfect, even between family and friends. This way, their nightmares will be of a more educational quality. It’s time we toughen those soft-cookies up!
