I was extremely dissappointed about Shoaib pulling out.
I would have supported Wasim if he had some sort of injury like Youhana and Inzi but he publicaly said himself that he didn't want to play against Australia and wanted to rest.
Why do our players follow the pattern of going to England when their team is playing international cricket.
It all started with Saqlain and Razzaq playing county cricket in England when Pakistan played Australia in Super Challenge Series.
Then Shoaib followed them while Pakistani team was in Morroco and now both Saeed and Akram going to England for a 2 day matches.
Why can't PCB control these man, they should heavily fine them, if someone goes out of their way. Thats one thing I don't like about our board.
So basically all the current problems started in June of this year.
I agree with Umair as long as Wasim and Saeed opted out because they didn’t want to play, but i don’t think that such great players like them would leave them team when they were playing against the world champions. Waqar definetly had to do something with them not playing. I strongly believe that these 2 shud come back to the team and waqar should be kick out of the team as fast as possible. Waqar was doing a good job untill June, but since then, he hasn’t done anything right and if he goes on playing like he is, then making him the captain for the World Cup will be like commiting suicide. Although he has bowled well so far in the third test, but its too little to late…and also…he has been making the stupidest decisions..If he wasn’t the captain, he would have been booted out of the team a long time ago…but because he is the captain, he hasnt been kicked out…If the PCB is smart, he needs to goooooo:wave:
I don't think Waqar should be kicked out. I think he is bowling well but yes he has been expensive, maybe because he has been playing non stop cricket since his captaincy started, he is 33 years old, he should be given some rest. I still think he can bowl well.
Look at all the other players, I think him, Younis Khan and Rashid Latif have been playing contionious cricket for the past 18 months.
I think they should be rested in Zimbabwe series if Wasim, Youhana, Inzi, Saeed comeback.
Waqar should definatly not be the captain but he is still good bowler.
Waqar has captained badly for the last few months but the problem is that there are no candidates that stand out as replacements. Definitely we have a lack of players with leadership qualities in the team at the moment.
** Umaira behun jeee ** Wasim might opt out of Zimbabwe series too if Waqar wouldn’t want him to play waisey bhi at this stage of his career I believe its best for him not to play test matches in hot Sharah conditions. Jo hamari team ki halut hey we need him for the world cup big time.We have just made it a habbit to blamme Wasim Akram for everything that goes wrong.
