Re: The born leader , the only hope

AGREE , Are you talking about Qasim brothers , Tyrian or Altaf Hussain . Bilawal is only a Pakistani . clear and no doubt born Pakistani & Pak national

Re: The born leader , the only hope

Unlike you snookums I ain't a liar. Only had one passport. The good old green. Why don't you go back to lying through your teeth again to make Ik look like an angel.

Re: The born leader , the only hope

I'd say anybody with any other additional passport is not a Pakistani too

Re: The born leader , the only hope

Please stop issuing minimum standards to have Pakistani citizenship certificate...otherwise half of GS will lose their pakistani citizenship!!!

we all LOVE Pakistan

Re: The born leader , the only hope

Everybody loves their nation of birth or heritage. But tell me this if you are born outside of the US, to American parents but don't have a US passport, does that make you american?

If you are born to Indian parents, outside of India and have no legal documents indicating you are Indian does that make you an Indian?

Re: The born leader , the only hope

Guys, can we not take a shot at each other?

Re: The born leader , the only hope

Looks like Bilwal is coming back to Pakistan.

Zardari on mission to bring Bilawal back - Pakistan - DAWN.COM

LAHORE: PPP Co-Chairman and former president Asif Ali Zardari is in London to ‘persuade’ son Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to return to Pakistan to attend the death anniversary of Benazir Bhutto on Dec 27.

A source close to Mr Zardari confirmed on Monday that he had gone to London to “bring his son back home”.

“It will be an extreme embarrassment for the party if Bilawal Bhutto, the PPP chairman, prefers to stay in London even on Dec 27,” he told Dawn, adding this was reason that Mr Zardari decided to see his son and resolve differences.

Earlier, the young leader’s absence from the PPP’s foundation day function at the Bilawal House in Lahore on Nov 30 had led to widespread speculation about his differences with his father.

Mr Zardari had told a group of PPP leaders during his stay in Lahore that the party’s relations with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement soured because of Bilawal’s “indiscreet statements” and that he had advised his son to temporarily keep himself away from politics.

A senior PPP leader told Dawn that differences between the father and the son had cropped up over the party affairs. “Mr Bilawal appointed Jehangir Badr and Bashir Riaz his political adviser and press secretary, respectively, without consulting Mr Zardari,” he said, adding that although Mr Zardari did not mind the choice, he told Mr Bilawal that he would be given a freehand to run the party affairs once he was fully groomed.
The father ‘persuading’ the son to return and attend Benazir’s death anniversary

“Mr Zardari wants his 26-year-old son to be groomed under his leadership, but Bilawal wants complete independence over the party affairs,” he said.

When contacted, Mr Zardari’s spokesman Senator Farhatullah Babar only said he would come to know about Mr Bilawal’s return on Tuesday. But he said Mr Zardari was coming back to attend the main event to be held in Garhi Khuda Bhaksh.

In reply to a question about Mr Zardari’s effort to reconcile with his son, Mr Babar said: “Any report about reconciliation that presupposes differences between the father and the son is itself misplaced.”

Re: The born leader , the only hope

Not a good sign for PPP. Yet another not so happy camper may leave PPP

Despite being neglected Amin Fahim won’t leave PPP - Pakistan - DAWN.COM

HYDERABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) president Makhdoom Amin Fahim feels he and his Sarwari Jamaat are being neglected as there are matters which need attention of the party leadership. But, he said, one thing is for sure that he is not going to leave PPP.

“Many left PPP only to become ‘zero’ and I won’t leave it,” he said while speaking to journalists in his ancestral haveli in Hala in Matiari district on Tuesday.

He was elected from this district in the last general election.

“I have tried my level best to improve things in the party and will keep doing so in future as well,” Fahim told a questioner. He said that he was not only committed with this party of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto but with their vision as well.

Makhddom Amin Fahim termed Sarwari Jamaat, of which he is the spiritual head, as integral part of the PPP. But, he said, supporters of his Jamaat are not given due response by elected representatives despite the fact that his Jamaat’s followers voted them across Sindh.

“They (supporters of the Jamaat) are told to go to Makhdoom Amin Fahim when they approach their parliamentarians,” he said. Fahim made it clear that if this situation was not rectified then he would start considering other options available to him.

Fahim told this correspondent that he is holding a meeting of Sarwari Jamaat to consult with its representatives on present situation within the PPP. “But this is an ordinary meeting of my Jamaat as we usually hold it,” he said.

The PPP leader complained that promises made with him were not fulfilled by Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah and Faryal Talpur. “Our people [of Sarwari Jamaat] are removed from different positions sans reasons,” he said.

Elaborating claims of being neglected by the party, he quoted some instances. In Umerkot, Sardar Shah was preferred over Sami Rajar and then he was told that Rajar would be made party president of district Umerkot, but it was not done.

Likewise, he said, Ghulam Ali Nizamani was not given ticket in Badin for the National Assembly constituency and someone else was preferred. “There has to be a reason why it is being done,” he said.

Fahim recalled that he was not named for the prime ministerial slot (in 2008) although it was agreed but then some other party colleague was chosen. “Yet I got along with PPP,” he said.

Commenting on his recent meeting with former military ruler Gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf, Fahim said it was an informal meeting and there was nothing ‘unusual’ about it.

“It was an ordinary meeting in presence of Raja Saeen (sitting Pir Pagara). Raja Saeen and I are friends and were sitting together when I and he left for meeting with Musharraf,” he remarked. He said that when people sit for 30 minutes or so they do discuss things as well.

Makhdoom Amin Fahim said so many decisions were being taken in the party without consulting him. “I used to meet so many people when Bibi (Benazir Bhutto) was alive and she was aware of it. So there was nothing surprising in that meeting,” he said.

The PPP president is contesting an election petition filed against him by his rival, Abdul Razaq Memon. Memon has questioned Fahim’s election in NA-218, claiming rigging. Fahim’s son Makhdoom Jamiluzzaman, currently a Sindh minister, is also booked in an embezzlement case by the Federal Investigation Authority (FIA).

Amin Fahim remarked that as long as Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was in power he and his family members would keep facing prosecution. He also said not only his son but some other members of Sindh cabinet don’t have authority.

Ruling out reports of apparent differences between PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and his son patron-in-chief Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, he said it was visible to the media only.

Re: The born leader , the only hope

Yes he will make example of Taliban sitting in London and dancing in Discos there. Bravo.

Re: The born leader , the only hope

Ehsaan Bhai, PPP is consistent in its opposition to Taliban. They are incompetent and choor and daku- that's agreed. However Taliban has blood on their hand with Benazir. I'll welcome new PPP leadership that can defeat Taliban. Bilawal is a kid. It's sad that PPP has chosen him when more competent leadership can be democratically elected in PPP.

Re: The born leader , the only hope

He will be back in couple of days to lead the nation . He was in no disco in his tour . Simple blames doesn't suit you sir !
Start loving Bilawal for a bright Pakistan

Re: The born leader , the only hope

True, and I think besides the obvious shortcomings in Bilawal, he is showing up courage altleast to speak on topics from which regular politicians shy away. And that's the benefit of being left wing
