Yes… in this case I will also quote that story, which somehow ur post reminded me: when the nabi swalil lilho alaihay wasalm was sitting in the garden, and this one person met him, Nabi PBUH said to him the next 4 (sorry can’t remember the number exactly, may Allah forgive me) ppl u see give them tidings of Janath. The person kept on going until he came across Hazrath Umar. Umar RA, took his chapal off, and beat the lights out of him. The person went back crying to Nabi PBUH and siad, Umar RA gave me a good beating. When Hazrath Umar was approached he explained, that regardless of being granted janath, doesn’t mean we’d leave our ibadah and go about merry making that we’re given the tidings of it in our lives. Ppl should continue their ibadah regardless.
Therefore brother Quraysh, I beat u… not that I know where we’ll end up in the hereafter, I pray inshaALlah the Almighty give us all the will to be better in our dialy ibadah and deen… but I beat u for u made me write so much
