What on earth was Melody thinking with that gross looking popcorn biscuit?!
MissFreudian - Yeah i'd like to know too! I'm disappointed in Asda though...the Star biscuits were supposedly really sweet and surely then unhealthy too but they went ahead and put an order in shaking head
I wasnt a big fan of Melody, but I think Helen should have gone. Proposing to take over as PM from Melody was out of order and shows a side of Helen not seen so far. Helens strategy would have been just as bad, ie go to retailers for big orders !Apparently Tom is the favourite to win. But I always thought that good businessmen always do essentially start off as being good salesmen, LS being a case himself, so I personally would hire Jim! He has the likeability factor and could certainly sell ice to eskimos. You want people like that in your business dont you??

Jim is a gas man, as in he just knows how to 'chat it'. Tom to win. I love Tom.
why do you want jim to win? he's a fool. he just has a commanding manner and anything sensible that he says has usually come from someone else but he has a better ability to make people listen to it.

I know but I think he's very enthusiastic and he's good at public dealing.
Why do you think Jim is a fool? He was instrumental in every task. Whereas Helen was barely visible and quitely hiding in the background in the first 3 or 4 episodes, Jim was actually one of the few who was relied upon by nearly every Project manager. Plus I do think the world of business needs more funny and charming people like Jim. We have enough of likes of Helens, who are always scheming shrewd moves but appear innocent. Did you notice how she looked at Tom when fluffing her pitch , and when Tom prompted her with help she just said, ’ oh Tom , you are putting me off’..hmm
I never said Helen was any better. I don't like her but she has shown some business acumen.
Jim was only relied upon in the respect that if he did not agree with the PM, the PM would find it difficult to rally the troops or get them to listen to what was being said. Or he picked up the good ideas from other team members and passed them off as his own. Please show me some specific evidence for him doing something instrumental, other than the magic stars pitch where he charmed the female buyers with bs. But even then, at the end of the day it was because the opposing biscuit and concept was rubbish in the eyes of the big supermarkets.
As for funny and charming, well we must have very different taste and that's neither here or there in whether he would be any good at real business. Which Jim is not, he's not a business man and he has no understanding of it, that was very evident yesterday. In fact, Susan saved him and Natasha from making the second a disaster too. Also in the magazine pitching where he didn't catch on in realising that negotiation was key. Funny that again Susan was the one saying he was making a big mistake.
I could go on if I remembered every single episode in detail.
Oh, and Jim is just as shrewd as and far more manipulative than Helen.
Why didn’t I see this thread before?! I LOVE the Apprentice, it is my life at the moment lol.
For me it’s Helen to win! I really like her. I also like Susan and Tom but that’s because they make me laugh so much, especially Tom.. he’s such an awesome geek.. Mr Notebook Calculator
