Personally the taste isn’t much to write home about, the protein to fat ratio is however pretty darn impressive. 6 grams of protein in a single egg. In comparison, you get about 10-14 grams of it in 500ml of milk. A single egg white (10ml) is a lot more convenient to drain down than that much of milk in one sitting.

Contracting a disease such as salmonella is pretty close to impossible for healthy individuals within the 18 to 40 years of age. Its the elderly and the children that risk a little more. Considering how only the sick chickens lay salmonella contaminated eggs. Its like 1 egg out of 30,000 or close to 2 million out of 70 Billion eggs. On average basis, you risk being involved in an accident a lot more than infecting yourself with salmonella. Sad but true.
