this has a very similar story to i totally forgot that drama’s name, more than a decade ago i guess…with shagufta ijaz as the step mother and has also 3 or 2 children already from first wife i guess… dramay ka naam bilkul yaad nahi aa raha hai

I have to say that such greedy families do exist, and they sacrifice the eldest son or daughter, dont marry them for their selfish reasons. I am not surprised. Yes, the author has exaggerated for sake of embellishment, it is tv afterall

how do you end a story like this where all the characters are beyond help?
Mehek: Despite a near-rape episode, heartbreak, constant mistakes, support by older sister, she is still the same devious plotting idiot.
Khursheed: Abuses wife and children.Frustrated with his life.
Saba's mom: Has no shame in being greedy. Constantly after saba's in-laws money. She is also exactly the same.
Kashaan: Still insecure and unappreciative
kashaan's mom: jealous insecure freak!
Saba: Perfect daughter, sister, wife, daughter-in-law. Tries to please everyone but ppl still hate her
How do you end this story? there really is no end because ppl don't change and problems stemming from these twisted characters will continue to be part of saba's life. How will faiza iftikhar "end" this? the only end to this story is all the characters getting old and dying. A sopranos-esque ending will be appropriate for this drama. Saba sitting in a cafe with her demented family, sipping tea and thinking "man this ppl are nuts" and the story ending

So this drama ended? It was one of those WTF kind of ending cause the ending didn't seem like an ending in any sense. What a waste of time.
