I do know many people [both Muslim and non-Muslim] that have opted for IVF and they all have beautiful healthy children MashaAllah. If i had trouble conceiving, i would opt for IVF and i’d have no qualms about it.
IVF is when they take a woman’s egg and a man’s sperm and fertilise them outside of the womb, taking sex out of the equation. So if a husband and wife are having trouble conceiving, they can opt for this method.
Now, if a man’s sperm is of low quality and it’s having difficulty penetrating the egg during regular methods (intercourse) then IVF is used instead. If the man’s sperm is completely useless, then i guess donor sperm can be used, but not without your consent…if i was to opt for IVF, they would be using my eggs and my husband’s sperm…they don’t just start mixing and concocting with random eggs and sperm sporadically!!
