People are still against IVF . At least a few in my family. But personally I feel it’s perfectly fine. Islamic scholars are against it and many people follow them blindly. Just a matter of personal opinion.
My daughter's father was of the view that its totally against islam and haram because he believed that use someone else's sperm and hence it comes under zina. He was fully convinced that these doctors don't do clean work and they mix stuff ( I don't know what kind of stuff) and it's zina. He said he read about it somewhere and the writer was some maulvi. No matter how hard I tried to convince him he did not agree. I am sure there are many mindsets like his. So I believe atleast in Pakistan it is not yet acceptable.
A lady I knew many year back had babies through IVF. She had twin boys but unfortunately both of them died soon after birth. Then she resorted to taking care of animals and thats how I got in contact with her. The couple was so sweet , caring & loving . Recently they moved abroad.
