Terror attacks leave dozens dead in Egypt resort town

Re: Terror attacks leave dozens dead in Egypt resort town

^ yes he was killed once before and became alive again when it suited America. Suddenly Osama is nobody now a days and Zarqawi is everything. After a while somone else whio is currently dead will become enemy number one and Zarqawi will be forgotton.

I don't think US froces will pull out so long as Bush is incharge. After all from where else can he secure cheap oil supplies.

Re: Terror attacks leave dozens dead in Egypt resort town

then sell it at higher cost to his own public, he and his cronies in oil companies  … per gallon gas has crossed $3 in Dallas area :grumpy:

Re: Terror attacks leave dozens dead in Egypt resort town

**Pentagon acknowledges fabricating a “Zarqawi Legend”

***The “war on terrorism” rests on the creation of one or more evil bogeymen, the terror leaders, Osama bin Laden, Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi, et al, whose names and photos are presented ad nauseam in daily news reports. Without Zarqawi and bin Laden, the “war on terrorism” would loose its raison d’être. The main casus belli is to wage a " war on terrorism". *

Re: Terror attacks leave dozens dead in Egypt resort town

When was he killed?

There were rumors of this death or when he got injured Tal Afar in 2005.

Osama is not a nobody. Look at the media coverage given to the new audio tape released by Osama.

Zarqawi is a bloodthristy terrorist who is responsible thousands of Iraqi deaths.

Terrorists come and go. If one gets killed another takes their place.

Its an evolving door.

As for cheap gas prices. If USA went into Iraq for Oil, then why is it gas prices are 3 dollars per gallon?

Why are you repeating the same old boring, redundant conspiracy theories which have been repeated to death?

Get some new material...

Re: Terror attacks leave dozens dead in Egypt resort town

I’d like to see a $1.50 per/g tax added on. Until the effects are felt to the core the comatose population will remain just that. The population is like a snail when it comes to demanding change, very slow. Throwing salt on it is how you get change fast. (Real investment into alternative energy)

Re: Terror attacks leave dozens dead in Egypt resort town

And so?

They might have exaggarated his claims a little bit, but its completely understandable.

The American Media needs a face behind the daily carnage in Iraq. If a bunch of nobody’s are waging the war, thats not good TV.

When you have a bloodthristy terrorist like Zarqawi doing it, it makes for good TV.

This was done for American audiences. But that doesn’t negate the fact that he is responsible for beheading hostages, some of the most henious acts of violence in Iraq…

Re: Terror attacks leave dozens dead in Egypt resort town

^
lol, really poor defense M2K.

Re: Terror attacks leave dozens dead in Egypt resort town

Not exactly a defense but a clarification.

I knew full well that Zarqawi is only a small player

But for large segments of the American population who don't have a robust understand of the Middle East as I do, portraying a boogey man like Zarqawi puts a face on the Iraqi Insurgency where as before they would basically a faceless hordes

Re: Terror attacks leave dozens dead in Egypt resort town

any idea about “demand” vs “supply” within US?

yeah yeah and you come up with same redundant anti-realistic comments about “conspiracy theories”

Any idea why profits of these oil companies are going up up and up? :hmmm: let me guess, good corporation/governance? :omg:

Re: Terror attacks leave dozens dead in Egypt resort town

Thats called "deception", putting all blame of "insurgency" on mainly one guy while there could be many running the operation.

Re: Terror attacks leave dozens dead in Egypt resort town

No, its not a deception. Its just putting a face on something which does not have a face.

Its like blaming the debacle of the Vietnam War on McNamara, or the architect of the holocaust on Reinhard Heydrich, etc.

Although there were many people who were involved in the mishandling of the Vietnam War and many people involved in devising the final solution.

Its much easier to paint certain people as the orchastrators of the crime.

Look at Pakistan.

It blamed AAK Niazi for the debacle in the 1971 War and yet there were many more people involved in Bangladesh becoming independent.

Re: Terror attacks leave dozens dead in Egypt resort town

^ They could've kept using previous names i.e. OBL and his company, why bring up a new face, then kill him, then make him alive again?

Its called "keep people busy" :)

Re: Terror attacks leave dozens dead in Egypt resort town

What are you talking about?

Making him dead?

There were rumours of his death, nothing more.

Since OBL was in the mountains of Pak-Afghan, the insurgents needed a new front line commander to command these terrorists.

Its simple logistics

Re: Terror attacks leave dozens dead in Egypt resort town

what insurgents? what logistics?.. the country is in US control.

Re: Terror attacks leave dozens dead in Egypt resort town

I forgot the war was fought for WMD’s which from the day they captured Iraq to date have been found in abundance. They can’t find enough planes to fly them out of Iraq.

Re: Terror attacks leave dozens dead in Egypt resort town

and where did we (all US people) get the "rumours" from? Answer: US media :)

[/quote]
It wasn't the "terrorists" who needed a "commander", more like US military/media needed someone else to put blame on.

Re: Terror attacks leave dozens dead in Egypt resort town

Since USA never invaded with enough troops to control the country there are vasts swathes of Iraq and Afghanistan under terrorist control

Re: Terror attacks leave dozens dead in Egypt resort town

I beleived that WMD never existed in the abundance in Iraq to which the Bush Admin. was making claims.

So why are you hawking me on this issue?

Re: Terror attacks leave dozens dead in Egypt resort town

No. The rumors first appeared on a Insurgent run site. Then it appreared in Arab News Media such as Al-Jazeera, etc...

But then it was later learned to be a fabrication.

The Iraqi Insurgents are to blame and will be blamed for the innocent lives they shed in their jihad against US forces.

The US forces put a face behind the insurgency as I have explained in great detail because sometimes the public needs a face and not a faceless hordes of people.

Re: Terror attacks leave dozens dead in Egypt resort town

actually i've heard Elvis is hiding South of Mosul.. most of the operations are performed under his direction.. plus the Easter Bunny may be responsible for peeing in the water supply causing diarrhea among some members of media in the Green zone... but since the American public love Elvis.. even more than the Easter Bunny they had to put a face to this.. hence Zarqawi and his gang..
