No one seems to care that upto 84 people are dead, only that the terrorist was not a muslim. My condolences to all the families who have lost loved ones.

CM, everyone (not just the desi expats) speculated (not assumed) and I don’t blame them for speculating so. They’re still talking about possible muslim involvement on all news channels, all websites, all blogs, all newspapers. Funny thing is, this guy’s religion hasn’t been brought up once and they were quick to call him a psychopath. The brown ones, on the other hand, are simply referred to as muslim terrorists. Just normal typical muslims.
Horrendous images up on google, who the hell releases them? Horrible stuff! My condolences to everyone who has been affected by this… :hinna:

Yes I did. Don't deny it at all. But in that case it was more of a "India always blames Pakistan" (rightly or wrongly is up for debate) but we always get blamed. Put it this way when the bomb blast occured in Pune at some bakery the India media blamed Pakistan. Even though there was no evidence. That was more of a comment on the political wrangling that shall occur in the back drop of the renwed dialogue between the two countries.
BBQ the problem is we automatically accept that oh it has to be muslims. Why should we do so? Its part of the psychology that makes us more accepting when people ***** about our faith and culture.

^ I agree. The point is, that whenever there is a terror attack in the west, we muslims are on tenterhooks until we know who it was. I know I was praying and hoping that it wasn't a muslim. That certainly does not mean however, that I as a muslim can't feel the pain if the tragedy does not involve muslims. In fact those of us who live in the west are better able to understand it, and are thus affected more by attacks in the muslim world AND the West. I just wish the muslim extremists could feel what all of us ordinary muslims feel and what goes through our head whenever they attack the 'infidels' on our behalf. But I also wish my western friends like my neighbours, my colleagues, my friends could feel the same pain that I feel when the muslims are killed nearly everyday by not individuals but by actual states.

Not surprising that even though 90+ people are killed, but media in the West is not paying as much attention to this story as it would have if it were done by a Muslim radical.
