i am not trying to criticize india but frankly if they had done good planing they would have taken over taj and oberoi but it seems their goal was to cause mayhem and random killings and end at taj.
their planning was all based on Luck, they moved by foot or on a car and they were target in open for a while , a trained doesnt do that.
if there were any one police man with enough courage and patience he could have taken out atleast one of them each with a 3 nt 3 rifles they had with single shot.
now when they were in a car 1-2 policeman could have taken atleast 60% of occupants with pistols as they were packed in car in close proximity but it required patience and brains and in that situation its hard to keep.
as now indian media is saying their ultimate goal was to blow taj then what the heck they were doing on stations and roads why waste precious time and surprise.
to be very frank this episode was handled very poorly by indian establishment, poor police Job although many bravest lost their life specially Mr karkare not challenging their bravery but they way it was handled.

i see in one of video terroists were on road and policeman were taking cover on sides with rifles that was time when they would have taken them out easily.

commandos dont go in like that, take element of surprise and knowledge of target area and commando becomes almost like a ordinary soldier with a gun.
