I’ve read all of the Anne of Green Gables series…and the Emily series…Chronicles of Avonlea…Further Chronicles of Avonlea…Pat of Silver Bush…and The Blue Castle, etc. You gotta read The Blue Castle. It’s not as well-known among the masses as Anne of Green Gables…but it’s very popular among her fans and for many it’s their favorite…because the story and main characters were unconventional for that ultra-conservative time period. I read The Blue Castle online.

Oh and “kindred spirits”…haha…you got that from Anne of Green Gables. I remember going through that phase. :hehe:

When I wozze really young I used to teach this young hindu male-servant of ours whatever I learn at school at least I taught him to read and write basics of Urdu and English.

And just last month I came across him (yunno like after 12 years) and he recognized me by calling me Bajii ...

Still since I'm into teaching field ..I also take private tuition too and I try my level best to help the ones with weaker financial background by either keeping my fee to minimum level or free sometimes.
