I need your help here. I want to buy a Laptop. Any one know which company is best (Dell, HP, Sony, Hitachi, Toshiba etc..)
pls also mention any website, you might consider worth visiting..

yaar it’s been sometime since I last updated my knowledge about computers but I think I can help you. If I were you I’d buy a ‘Dell’ laptop cuz of the good quality and reliability. Basically you pay the big price and get the excellent quality. Sony’s laptops are very light in weight but heavy in price. HP laptops don’t sound good to me. Toshiba’s laptops are awfully slow and I don’t really remember anything about Hitachi’s laptops. Well, that’s about it.
For websites you can try the company name then .com
eg. http://www.dell.com (lol I’m just guessing) 
I use Dell Inspiron 7500. Excellent machine. Whichever model u get, make sure it supports atleast 1280x1024 screen resolution. I have used IBM, Compaq and Dell so far. In my years of experience, I think Dell is da best.

IBM Thinkpads' the tops. Have used thinkpad, Toshiba, and Acer. I also read an independent market survey in some magazine which rated the thinkpad as the best bang for the buck.
