OMG. This reminds a quote from famous Turkish novel ‘My name is Red’.

“The drinking of coffee is an absolute sin! Our Glorious Prophet did not partake of coffee because he knew it dulled the intellect, caused ulcers, hernia and sterility; he understood that coffee was nothing but the Devil’s ruse.”
@TLK @hareem have you ever heard this sort of resentment for coffee with reference to Prophet. I read that Coffee was introduced to Europe by Moroccan Sufis

Never heard of anything like that. It’s like saying that prophet never drank orange juice so it’s haraam. Too much of anything would harm you. That includes dates and olives which were favorites of prophet Muhammed.
