Re: tappe
Your from Manchester right?
im really surprised at your attitude sometimes...true to each their own, but if you dont like someone thats fair enough, you dont need to use such language to express your thoughts about them...why can't you just let others be without having a need to hate?
i dont even know why im bothering...after all you edit everyone of your comments after a few minutes :p
Re: tappe
Hatred is part of mans innate nature, it’s healthy to have an object of hate, too much love mohabbat is unnatural and unhealthy.
It’s a natural instinct, I direct and channel mine towards the right people and things, i.e. Indians (Hindu-Sikh ones, not Muslim bcoz they're bros), to supress it completely has negative side effects, some of them being effeminacy, laziness, and purposelessness in life amongst others..

ranjhan u dont need to hate anyone/anything just for the sake of it.. btw sikhs and lazy? did u carry out some survey of your own..dunno about any other place but in the uk they are far more hard working and ahead of us muslims.. sad but true.
Re: tappe
Tenu meri gal di samajh nai aai.
Mera post fer parr...
I said not having an object of hate causes laziness, hate is a natural survival instinct, there was a psychological study on it.. So it's perfectly fine to hate.
Re: tappe
Where the hell did Urdu/Punjabi “tappe” come from? Surprising…
What’s the next thing to steal? …ummm… ![]()
Bangra - already stolen by Sikhs…damn damn damn…
Re: tappe
Bhangra was originally an Afghan thing?
Sikhs stole the Rubaab from the Pashtuns/Afghans too, it's sacred for them now and they call it Sri Rabaab.
Shalwar Kameez too, about 30 or so years ago Punjabis laughed at Pashtuns for wearing Shalwar Kameez now they've chucked away their Dhoti (sarong) and are even wearing Shalwar Kameez themselves, people from the rest of the Indian subcontinent associate Shalwar Kameez with Punjab now when it's actually Afghan/Pashtun.
It's your culture man, you guys should stop these culture and heritage thieves.
Re: tappe
Bhangra is copy of Attan, so are the turbans they wear, so is the dance, so are the cloths, so are the beards, so on and so forth.
There was a bhangra site that explained how Attan transformed into Bhangra...Dhol also, though Attan is a war dance and Bhangra is domestic. In Attan you use sword and in Bhangra you use sticks and that metal clipping thing.
Tapay/Landay is a form of Pashto poetry.

Re: tappe
Have to agree with you… we dont get on with them very well at all over here
Re: tappe
Yeah, it is the traditional dance of the Khattak Tribe of the Afghans.
Oh i did not know about that, thanx for adding more info into my knowledge.
I know Bro, they’ve stolen the dress and the Turban, but they should at least not forget who they got it from. That is what drives me mad, they never ever say that the dress they have adopted is of Afghan/Pashtun origin.
I wish we could stop them, we won’t be able to now. But inah’Allah, when the government is all at its best, we will then take a step to preserve our culture treasures.

Hey Bro, Bhangra is not ATTAN! Attan is another traditional dance of the Afghans/Pashtuns, the Bhangra is only performed by the Khattak Tribe of the Afghans. The Bhnagra of the Afghans is performed with both swords and sticks.
Re: tappe
ATTAN/ATTRN is the original dance, these dances are called by different names by different tribes and the performance also differs from tribe to tribe. Khattak call it ATTAN also, they don't call it "Bhangra". Bhangra comes from a domesticated type of ATTAN called "BALBALA" which was adopted by the Sikhs when they took over Peshawar valley.
All these dances originate from ATTAN, so they are all ATTAN dances.
Re: tappe
In a way they are, but each dance is unique in its own way. Attan/Attanr is the national dance of Afghanistan, the only type which every Tribe knowns, there are other types as well which are knwon only to specific Tribes.

Re: tappe
Rhanjan hating is wrong no matter what kind of context you put it in. Its not productive at all. You speak of love causing laziness and effimacy.. but love inspires nations to come together and tear down walls of separation, love is one of the most energetic and productive resources that allah has given us, to survive with, that is to say, only means by which man has survived by now. Hatred, my friend maybe be just as energizing but is extremely counterproductive to man, and not to mention ignorant and dangerous..when allah created the earth and man he said "learn".. dont talk any " innah allah" if you are too ignorant to understand that. hateful people are one of the reasons we have to fight, and fear for the safety of our loved ones.. why nations and people scatter from their home lands, suspect eachother, and innocent and pure folks are turned rotten. and by the way.. what do you care if people share their cultures and customs with one another, if ideas and thoughts are adopted adapted and incorparated, its not hurting you! do you wear jeans? then shut up for god's sake! you =you dont understand=cant empathize/sympathize/relate=things which take energy and intelligence/patience. however, hatred=ignorance....and if you know your stuff..hatred isnt from allah.. its from shataan so whos side are you really on? and one more thing for you to learn about one's cultures..they have for thousands of years fed off of and adapted originally through eachother, all we were once all the same, our roots connect whether you like it or not, or whether or not you are prepared to accept that ... some advice for you is to attend anger management.
