yup. those little platforms are life savers. When i was a kid there was a temple across the river in our town and the only way to get to it was through that railway bridge. My eyes used to get wide in fear as those bridges are usually see through. on top of that i always thought some train would run us over.
*I used to say one thing. Tea tastes different in different parts of India. Its only Indian Railway which truely unites india, as no matter where you go in the country, the railway tea is equally horrible and has the exact same taste *:D

TRUE but with just ONE exception and that is "AligaRh Station par Mangal kii chai"! the tea made by him [Mangal Singh] is by far the bestest tea ever, i can guarantee that. whenever i go to Aligarh, i make sure i've a cuppa tea at his stall on platform #2.
