The Magnificant palace is located in a lost county of Deira Nawab Sahib, in Bahawalpur district of Pakistan. Once a head quarter of richest princely state of united India is today hidden in the mist of time.
Sadiq Garh palace was constructed in 1882 by Rule of Bahawalpur Nawab Muhammad Bahawal khan Abbasi with total expenditure of 15 lac rupees and it was designed by Italian artists.
Many famous personalities remained guest of this palace, like Lord Mountbatten, Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Shah Iran and many more.
The palace now is not occupied by inhabitants since two decades as it is under legal dispute among decedents of royal family.
The palace consist of four main buildings i.e. state Secretariat building, cinema and gym, a mosque and palace itself containing total 99 rooms out of which mostly are suits. The whole complex is fortified by a huge wall.
The palace today is deteriorating condition. however, however it’s huge lawn are somehow maintained. Among many precious stuff stolen was one Ghalaf e Kaba’a which used to hang at the entrance of palace.
