I was thinking just how much happy cartoonists would have been after the news of Nawaz Sharif taking oath.

A few lines here and there, one big circle, a couple of dots, and some final strokes, and Sharfu is ready.

If I hadn’t already chosen a career path, I’d have been inclined to become a newspaper cartoonist. Easy money!

you can still draw if you want…but I think you need to born with an instinct for that … plus you have to be extremely creative to be a newspaper cartoonist.

Sure, sure. :flowers: I don’t have too much time on hand these days, but considering I just adore art, I am thinking about getting into it in the near future. Maybe even computer based art with a professional drawing tablet pen like Wacom, etc.

Yeabsolutely, I am not too shabby in the creativity department, I would imagine. :hypo: But I’m just happy with all the shtick I am doing right now. You are right though, extreme creativity is needed to be a newspaper cartoonist, particularly taking into account all sorts of deadlines.

Having said that, I’ve always loved that Javed chap that used to draw for Jang. Probably still does.
