To Allah belongs what He takes and to Him belongs what He gives.And there is a set time by Him for everything. Do exercise patience and expect reward (from Allah Almighty).
May Allah Almighty reward your dearest father immensely and overlook his shortcomings as we all humans have, and give him place in Jannatul Firdous.
I know that your dear father was a good man from reading your posts. Alhamdulilah
Alhamdulilah you are full of emaan and have good knowledge and yearning for it - You have to bear this great loss with patience and fortitude. Your reward is with Allah Almighty.

and remember kulli nafsin zayeqat ul maut..and prepare for it abbu abbu definitely didnt know that he would never enter at home after zuhr namaz and malakul maut was waiting for him at the door of his house..it was all of a sudden death!! inna lil lahi wa inna alaihi raje’ion
