I just saw this movie and was really impressed. It's beautifully done with excellent acting. Nothing is over the top.
Definitely worthy of an academy award.
And now the bad... At times, I really felt like I was watching a documentary. When he mentioned all the big names in his speach to the class in an attempt to bring the kid out of his shell, was that all true? Did they all really have dyslexia in their childhood? I felt that the speach was a little too much bakwas.
We may not know for sure if all those people had dyslexia, but the point is that they did things differently, they didn't fit in with others, and they didn't achieve success as others thought they were supposed to. Despite that, they contributed amazing things to human society.
