What I liked about the movie was that it was simple. No over acting. No myterious and dark scenes. I didn't feel like I was being forced to cry or be sad. My thoughts were exactly the opposite when I watched "Black."
And now the bad... At times, I really felt like I was watching a documentary. When he mentioned all the big names in his speach to the class in an attempt to bring the kid out of his shell, was that all true? Did they all really have dyslexia in their childhood? I felt that the speach was a little too much bakwas.
that was the point of the whole thing...that dyslexia is not something which makes one be called "mentally retarded"....and the big names were used to make the same point that some people who suffered from dyslexia turned out to be well known famous personalities....
Unfortunately ,the part of the world we come from,these things are just not traeted the way they should be...the movie was an attempt to bring about awareness about this learning disability....and i hope it serves the purpose...:)
