Lonwabo Tsotsobe reacts after being hit for a six by Stephan Myburgh, Netherlands v South Africa, World T20, Group 1, Chittagong, March 27, 2014

Re: T20 World Cup 2014

134/9 … no more chances for NL :nahi:

Re: T20 World Cup 2014

Netherlands have spoiled their win...lol

SA won by 6 runs

Re: T20 World Cup 2014

What a game between South Africa and Netherlands. The minors came so close to beating a world class team. I guess, in the end inexperience of a 'big game' cost them the match. Good going Netherlands. Congratulations South Africa!

Re: T20 World Cup 2014

They were so close for a big upset!!

Re: T20 World Cup 2014

SL is on a roll. They were unbeaten in Asia Cup and they are 2 out of 2 so far. England have a good chance of breaking their streak today. Come on Inglastan.

Re: T20 World Cup 2014

2 bad decisions in 2 deliveries!!!

Perera was N.O., given out

Jayawardene was out, given N.O.

Re: T20 World Cup 2014

Lanka esp. Dilshan trying to play too many unorthodox shots (Dilscoop) and wasting deliveries in the process. Need to play each ball on merit.

Important to rotate the strike well too. This game is not just about big shots, teams often lose their way in doing so

Re: T20 World Cup 2014

dropped catch (Dernbach), costly miss (Jayawardene)

It's either dot balls or boundaries for Lanka!

Re: T20 World Cup 2014

Damn, so many dropped catches. Nasir Hussain said it's like bowling with a wet bar of soap.

Eng need 190 to win.

Re: T20 World Cup 2014

England have no choice but to hit hard and harder...RRR 11.80

Eng 72/2 the halfway...

Re: T20 World Cup 2014

Death overs bowling is on...

RRR 9.60

Re: T20 World Cup 2014

incredible hundred by Alex Hales

Re: T20 World Cup 2014

Mighty England win by 6 wickets sparing 4 balls…halt winning streak of Lanka…

Alex Hales 116* :k:

Re: T20 World Cup 2014

Hales is a dangerous dangerous T20 player, full of power

Mendis was Lanka's Bhatti today 4-0-52-0 incl. 25 off the 15th over

sixes galore (15) today. 8 by England (6 by Hales) and 7 by Lanka

Re: T20 World Cup 2014

SL moral = down. Shabaash England. :)

England was good but dew was just too much today.

Re: T20 World Cup 2014

Extraordinary run chase by England nevertheless

**Michael Vaughan tweet angers Sri Lankans
**
A tweet by former England captain Michael Vaughan has angered Sri Lankan cricket fans, who took to social media disapproving the comment.

The matches of the ongoing World T-20 tournament in Bangladesh are preceded by the national anthems of the participating nations and during one of Sri Lanka’s games Vaughan made fun at the Sri Lankan national anthem.

‘Just rung home, made a brew, been to the toilet and made a cake during the Sri Lankan national anthem…’

The tweet was retweeted by over hundred followers of Vaughan. Angry responses followed in social media following the tweet.

‘And God save Elizabeth from what?’ a Sri Lankan fan responded making reference to the British national anthem and the British Monarch – Queen Elizabeth II. The first few words of British national anthem are, ‘God save our gracious Queen.’
There was support for the ‘And God save Elizabeth from what’ comment as one fan commented, ‘From Shame’.
‘I do not recollect any queen around who is gracious,’ responded Gale De Kauwe, a Sri Lankan domiciled in Australia.
Another fan responded sarcastically to Vaughan comment stating. ‘Sorry that amazing anthem put the fear of god in you and made you wet your pants. Did you change those too?

Yorkshire’s Vaughan succeeded Nasser Hussein in 2003 as England’s captain.

Two years later he helped England regain the Ashes after 16 years.
