That’s really situational. There is nothing in the muslim brotherhood that requires you to support your brother if he is doing injustice. You’re required to oppose him until he corrects himself and repents sincerely. It’s not an endorsement for or against Assad regime. Just a point I wanted to share. What would be ideal is if muslim countries took the situation personally, and intervened to correct/guide each other before others had the opportunity to do it for the muslims. That’s really the aching point in all this.
Secondly, if the shia/sunni common bond was found, and acted on then some of our fellow brethren from both camps would be out of “jobs”, so to speak. It is in the interest of some people to keep the difference alive, and if possible widen them. This is how they gain their strength, and keep a hold on their like-minded followers.
