Re: Swiss expulsion proposal draws criticism
Why is it that Europe has such a problem with immigrants and not America and Canada (to a lesser extent)?
It might have to do with the fact that Europeans are not adapted to accept immigrants like America does.
Hate America all you want, but I would much rather be here than anywhere else in the world.
Re: Swiss expulsion proposal draws criticism
It's socio-economic factors IMO.
exactly, and these immigrant communities are in the poorest societal groups. if you see violence and crime of other groups even the locals u will notice a higher incidence of crime. Then the question becomes why are these immigrants in the lowest groups, is it them is it the system, is it both, and what needs to be done to both control the quality of people coming in (btw not all countries need doctors as immigrants many need factory workers as well) and then how to integrate (not I did nto say assimilate) them into the society so they are productive contributors.
but that would kinda make sense and all, not something that the uber right winger xenophobes who would eb chest thumping are known for :)
Re: Swiss expulsion proposal draws criticism
haha
I can imagine someone’s abba jee going to the swiss police and telling them;
“Bhai saab, main tu iss ko buhat samjhata hooN laikin yeh mairee baat nahi maanta iss ko zara drawing room ki saair karwaao”
At least then they cant blame and hold accountable the goody goody abba jee :halo:
Re: Swiss expulsion proposal draws criticism
So what does that make Los Angeles? Irvine? Jackson Heights? Dearborn?
There are a lot of Arabs in Dearborn, yet there is little crime and violence there. Hmmm wonder why?
It's socio-economic factors IMO.
All of your examples are in USA which is an immigrant country
Europe is not
simple as that
Re: Swiss expulsion proposal draws criticism
oh come on now, lets not just stop at ayaaabs and afrikis, swiss problems for example have more to do with eastern euopeans.
not eastern europeans but mostly from balkans and increasingly from africa and the arab world

these people are not suppose to be there in the first place
Just accept it
Europe is never was a multi-racial and multi-cultural place like North and South America
so its obvious europeans are going to be apprehensive against these new comers
