Oh I didnt know that...are you sure though? Do you think you get me ref from the sunnah or the Quran? I thought that was the sattar for men.
SarahS I didnt say it was prescribed, wouldn't it be simpler to just wear a normal swimsuit and go into a all-female pool rather than worrying about covering up properly in a mixed pool?
Offcourse islamically its wrong for both, nowhere does it say its ok for a man to be swimming in a mixed pool where there are half naked women. Most gyms have all-men or all-women pools anyways.

Imo i hate wearing a loose dress over cossies (swimsuit) cause it becomes a balloon and floats
I prefer a two piece with long kurta material pants
the top lycra like a singlet.
On my trip i wore two piece bikini for the first time, my gawd they are so comfy and practicial but i dun think i'd be comfy wearing them in public.
I wore normal clothing on top and shed them whenever i wanted to go for a dip.
