Don't get so excited..
Anouncement has two parts:
1) Judges will be restored according to charter of democracy... means CJ will be declared PCO judge and not restored. There is no mention of restoration of judges in COD. Aitzaz is explaining already that CJ is not a PCO judge as he did not take oath on PCO on last November 3rd and PCO prior to that is already ratified by 17th ammendment, a fact on which govt will not concede..
2) Punjab govt. will be restored through a review petition in Supreme court.. means the same Dogar court will hear the review petition for may be next 10 years...
It's just a ploy to fool people, and Zardari wants to buy just time to come out of this mess...he is not going to do anything practical....and I don't think lawyers or PML N are buying this new trick...stand off continues!!!
