Nobody has control on their brain , how can forgetting a sura be a sin ?
In quran 2: 106 Allah(SWT) mentions that Allah(SWT) made Holy Propher(SAW) forget verses.

everyone seems to be missing the point and that is if you forget due to negligence and carelessness…if you do it knowingly. erasing from memory unintentionally or due to human weakness, it’s of course NOT a sin.
