Agree! that was exactly happened with in 1970s Bhutto government filed a reference against NAP (National Awami Party), resulting a ban by supreme court. Now we have ANP with many NAP people with it.
But i believe once you ban a party their all their MP would lose their seats and there is certain restriction on officer bearers as well.
