CJ should have gone further in his decision to either ban or put strict sanctions to this party. Every one knows that this party is main culprit, I don’t see any affect on target killings as such. The affect of ZM"s press conferecne is going weak day by day and editor of London Times who gave news of about AH running away to SA has been allegedly killed by mqm. So target killings has started again. The judgement is more like political rather than judicial.

You need to understand that while supreme court could give the observation but they could not ban or put any other kind of senction on any party as the would be beyond scoop of the proceeding.

There are specific procedures in the constitution for banning any party, as government need to file a reference in the supreme court and where the party would be able to defend itself.

If you read the judgement supreme court did asked the government to file reference (but i am sure Zardari would not do it).
