Imran Khan Greeted With Abuses In His KPK Team’s Meeting**CHAKDARRA: Differences came to the fore in Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as rival groups in the party chanted slogans against each other on the arrival of its Chairman Imran Khan here on Sunday.

Supporters of Asad Qaiser and Pervez Khattak chanted slogans against each other at the residence of the local PTI leader Haji Saleem Khan.Sources said that both Asad Qaiser and Pervez Khattak were present on the occasion but they didn’t try to calm down their supporters. The two PTI leaders are contesting election for the provincial president of the party. Asad Qaiser represents the old guard in the PTI and was its former provincial president while Pervez Khattak is a newcomer in the party. There are other candidates also for the office of the provincial president. **
**
Imran Khan, who was invited to attend a luncheon arranged by Haji Saleem Khan, appeared uneasy on the occasion, but he didn’t say anything publicly. The PTI chief attended the luncheon and left the venue without addressing the gathering.**

Re: Super and Permanent Lotay Joining Imran Khan's PTI

^ and this is related to lotas joining PTI how?

Re: Super and Permanent Lotay Joining Imran Khan's PTI

^^^. The thread is about lota khabren. Pervez Khattak changed two parties before joining PTI comes under the very definition of super permanent lota:)

Re: Super and Permanent Lotay Joining Imran Khan's PTI

No, the news is about rift or division within party, this news is not him joining PTI now.

Re: Super and Permanent Lotay Joining Imran Khan's PTI

Yes rift between super permanent lotay:)

Re: Super and Permanent Lotay Joining Imran Khan's PTI

^ so you are turning this thread from lota joining PTI to any update within PTI?

Re: Super and Permanent Lotay Joining Imran Khan’s PTI

As long it pertains to super permanent lotay or sometimes lotian:) Read the following report

My Decision to Leave PTI « imaanmazari

I can tolerate criticism regarding my work, my attitude towards ex-fellow party members and a lot of other things but one thing I have put up with for the last 6 months (since April when I joined PTI in Rajanpur District) is abuse and character assassination. This is something I am simply not ready to tolerate anymore, be it for PTI or anything/anyone else; my respect and principles are more important to me than a party that continues to attack me despite my contributions to it ever since I joined. Admitted, I** have made mistakes in the past, but being called a “prostitute,” or hearing/reading insults regarding my late grandfather by PTI workers is simply unacceptable. Yes, I wear what I want and I live my personal life exactly the way I want to – that is between me and myself; no one else ever had or will ever have a right to comment on it. I will never make any apologies for the way I choose to live my personal life. I tolerated my personal life being put up for criticism and abuse by PTI workers and ignored it because I believed in PTI’s vision and did not want to put any impediments in the way to their success.**

**When PTI started taking in feudals and lotas, I stood by them because Khan convinced us that he knew what he was doing. Despite his dictatorial decisions in the PSC in granting Musharraf’s ex-ministers the most significant positions in the party, I stood by my ex-leader. I trusted his judgment. I trusted that these people were coming into our party because they had changed and wanted a Pakistan that was a democratic, progressive welfare state. I was only to realize slowly and gradually how impaired my judgment had been. I even went so far as to stick by my party when party workers hurled stones at me and literally molested me at the Pindi Jalsa **because I thought “if its for Pakistan, I can stick it out.” I just recently realized, well no, its not really for Pakistan is it? Is this a Pakistan any sane person would want to say? Admitted, PTI is the only option right now as the others have PROVEN to be corrupt and inefficient, but why should I continue to defend a party where a) not only am I abused but b) the senior party leadership has only its power-hungry interests at heart.

When I was angry, I wrote a 2 page article on specific people that were discrediting PTI and details of how they were influencing Khan to move away from the ideology we have had for 16 years. This was till I realized, I’m better than that. Just because PTI had treated me like dirt doesn’t mean I’m going to reciprocate such disgusting treatment. PTI Rajanpur and I will continue to work on an individual level on social work projects which are my main aim for the next few years. The people of Rajanpur are just as much my responsibility as I am theirs. I will continue to speak for those oppressed as I have always done – no Leghari or feudal sardar is going to be able to defeat that part of me. I truly pray that Khan wakes up and realizes that his party has been hijacked, as my mother stated, which only resulted in sick PTI workers abusing her as well, conveniently forgetting about how hard she has worked for Pakistan all her life, even without party affiliations. Khan may think he knows what he’s doing, but when he passes comments (regarding the Rajanpur jalsa which he did not attend), saying “convince them to come back later/why cant they just come back tomorrow,” I feel he has lost touch with the poverty-stricken and neglected population of not only Southern Punjab, but Pakistan, as a whole. These were poor people, most of them affected directly by the floods, who had borrowed money to try to make ends meet just to be able to hear Khan speak to them for 20 minutes. A delay in DGK, sitting and convincing more sardars to lend their support just doesn’t cut it as a justification for keeping these people waiting. If it had been just the wait, one could even forgive that – but the fact that he didn’t even bother apologizing to those people was what made me sick to my stomach. What pushed it one step forward was Awais Leghari’s attack against my mother, calling her “unreasonable” for standing up for people who are oppressed by the system his feudal mindset propagates.

I for one am tired of slogans of change without any concrete policy. I sincerely pray internal party elections result in the removal of damaging elements from within PTI. I could write on and on about how senior leadership in the party has disrespected one another, including Khan’s disrespect towards my mother, but that’s another issue which I do not wish to delve into – ENOUGH of dirty politics.

**Pakistan is and always will be my home; my soil to which I will always give back in whichever way I can – but I can no longer remain in a party where my ideology conflicts with theirs. If it is really a change Khan wants to bring about, why is the old guard of PTI shunned and humiliated so that he can use Tareen’s private jet? How Imran Khan thinks this isn’t elitism shocks me!
**
InshaAllah when I have my degree in hand and have served Pakistan to the extent where I feel I am in a position to re-enter politics, I have no other ambition but to do so. Until that day, health, education, women’s rights and other projects that I had been working on in Pakistan will not come to an end. Infact, with no party affiliation, I am in a more credible position to carry out my work. To all those who abused me and my family, I pray for you and hope you develop into decent human beings because that is something that PTI clearly hasn’t taught you. Criticizing Imran Khan does not make me a “traitor.” I am free to criticize on issues where I feel the nation is being misled; blind faith in a leader (any leader at all) is not the way I work – sorry to disappoint.

I appreciate the work that the Imran Khan Foundation and Shaukat Khanum are engaging in – but that’s what Imran Khan is superb at; social work. He is an asset for Pakistan in terms of his dedication in the field of social work. As a politician, I feel like he needs to remember who he was 15 years ago and what vision he had because it no longer exists in the party. What are considered “electables” aren’t what Pakistan needs – what we need is an honest and focused leader who will stick to his initial convictions and beliefs even when offered the short cut.

Re: Super and Permanent Lotay Joining Imran Khan's PTI

^^^ whoever that person is talking a lot of crap as people he/she is talking about are leaving PTI mainly because Imran is doing EXACTLY what he promised i.e. No guarantee of tickets before party elections. Hoti mentioned in his interview that one of his disagreement with Imran was inclusion of a 26 year old in CEC ignoring experienced people. People complained about not giving chances to youth even though the party is called youth's party so this is perfect example of giving youth a chance.
People criticise when there is no one, they criticise when people join and they criticise when people leave for their greed. Take the example of scores of PMLQ leaders going back to PMLQ mainly because Zardari is handing out millions in funds and assurance of withdrawl of PPP candidates in some constituencies, so who calls this a REVOLUTION or change?
Don't care who says what, Imran is sticking to his words and that's what matters.

Re: Super and Permanent Lotay Joining Imran Khan's PTI

Its funny how most of the ones leaving PTI these days are those who joined the party 6-8 months ago.

Re: Super and Permanent Lotay Joining Imran Khan's PTI

Shireen Mizaari is an old PTI member but if she is leaving just because Imran could not visit Rajanpur, it is kind of sad. Imran repeatedly said to her that flight is delayed a lot due to weather.

Its not related to Imran but the tribal issues between Legharis and Mazaris. I susepct Legharis and Mazari both will leave but Imaan was a very valuable contributor and It is sad that she is leaving. Hope she will reconsider.

Re: Super and Permanent Lotay Joining Imran Khan's PTI

^^^^

Welcome to Pakistani politics. That's why it is too risky to include super permanent lotay. IK should have thought zillions times.

Re: Super and Permanent Lotay Joining Imran Khan’s PTI

Looks like a severe blow on PTI and IK. IK’s tsunami seems to be failing. Party is still struggling to survive since last 11 years. IK should by now understand that Pakistani Politics is not his cup of tea. He should voluntarily disband his PTI, super permanent lotay and focus on his charity work and become coach to Pakistani cricket team.

Shireen Mazari resigns, alleges PTI hijacked by ‘big money’ | DAWN.COM

ISLAMABAD: Central Vice President of Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Dr Shireen Mazari on Wednesday resigned from her basic party membership, citing differences “purely based on political issues”.

In messages posted on social media website Twitter, Mazari said: “I have given in my resignation from PTI. I regretfully resign as people had real hopes with PTI.”

“Not leaving PTI for any other party, purely based on political issues,” said Mazari in her messages. “Party program has been taken over by ‘big money’. The membership drive was hijacked by ‘big money’. This has compromised the party elections.”

Mazari was also incharge of Foreign Policy for the PTI. The renowned analyst was served a notice by the party leadership after reportedly giving statements against PTI’s policies.

“I haven’t left the ideology the party has departed from the ideology. My resignation is not based on personal differences rather on policy and governance issues. I am ready to serve PTI again if the party lives up to its principles,” added Mazari in further tweets clarifying her resignation.

“Let me make it clear yes I was served a show cause notice & my resignation came after due deliberation. I was NOT suspended from the party,” she added, clarifying her position.

Re: Super and Permanent Lotay Joining Imran Khan's PTI

Do you believe that he is good enough to do charity work and capable of coaching the national team?

Re: Super and Permanent Lotay Joining Imran Khan's PTI

He has proved by establishing Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and former super star of cricket bringing world cup to Pakistan. I have no doubt about these abilities.

Re: Super and Permanent Lotay Joining Imran Khan’s PTI

The PTI actually seems to be hijacked by the so-called ideologists who do not want to be surpassed by anyone. They are not willing to let the limelight focus elsewhere. Every single newcomer in the party is resisted tooth and nail. None of these so-called ideologists is good enough to beat even a councilor on its own. And no political ideology, however genuine it maybe, can be of any use to the people if its followers fail to reach the corridors of power and put the ideology into action.

Dr Mazari has been an excellent analyst, but she has grossly misread the script. I do not want to bring the factor of traditional rivalry of Mazari and Laghari tribes in this move, but she should have tried to understand the broader and complicated canvass of electoral politics of Pakistan. There might be some angels staying on the earth, but none of them is based in Pakistan — not even Imran himself.

PTI leader attacks police station | DAWN.COM

ISLAMABAD, Sept 26: A politician from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) along with his gunmen raided Aabpara police station on Wednesday, to set free activists belonging to his party.

The politician — Raja Khurram Nawaz — along with his gunmen, Saeedur Rehman and Amir Mughal and other activists of the political party attacked the police station and manhandled the staff.

The police claimed that they also tore the uniform of Naib Moharar of the police station, head constable Mohammad Fiaz, although PTI disputes the claim.

As many as 25 activists of PTI were arrested on charges of disrupting normal life during the protests on Thursday and Friday in Islamabad.

The demand surprised the police officials, who informed the politician that the arrested were booked under criminal charges and a legal procedure required their release.

Spokesman for the PTI, Umar Cheema when contacted showed ignorance about his colleague, Raja Khurrum Nawaz. He replied: “I am not aware of him.”

Re: Super and Permanent Lotay Joining Imran Khan's PTI

^^If it's true then kick the JAHIL thug out and take appropriate action.

No one is above the law especially these sort of idiots who think they can harass anyone.

Re: Super and Permanent Lotay Joining Imran Khan’s PTI

But then this was the stupid choice of IK to get electables as many as possible. These electibles were/are mostly super permanent lotay. They follow where there is likelyhood of power to be transfered. Realizing now by IK is too late. The damage has already been done. It is not known how many more years he will take for his party to take off.

http://dawn.com/2012/09/26/pti-to-become-stronger-as-self-
interested-members-leave-khan/

**PTI to become stronger as ‘self-interested members’ leave: Khan

**LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf chairman Imran Khan said Wednesday that the departure of ‘self-interested members’ would not weaken the PTI, but only strengthen it further, DawnNews reported.

Imran Khan said that those PTI members who joined the party in order to pursue personal gains have now started leaving the party after experiencing disillusionment, however, ideology and principles will always be PTI’s priority.

Khan’s comments come the same day as Shireen Mazari, central vice president and a prominent member of the PTI, announced her resignation from her party membership. Mazari cited differences “purely based on political issues” for her resignation.

Speaking at a party function to felicitate the prominent new entrants to PTI, Khan declared the allegations levelled at him and his party by Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) as the reason for PTI’s decreasing popularity.

Moreover, Khan added, while referring to a research report by American universities on the US drone attacks in Pakistan that the report mentioned all the concerns and facts that PTI has already expressed on numerous occasions.

He also said that the government policy on the drone attacks is merely hypocritical.

Furthermore, Khan also said that the peace march delegation scheduled to leave for Waziristan from Islamabad on Oct 6 is based on goodwill. He expressed hope that maximum number of people would participate in the march.

Re: Super and Permanent Lotay Joining Imran Khan's PTI

Had IK done just two things, he could have easily stopped those who have already left or those who are ready to leave: 1: No party elections. 2: Guarantee for ticket.

Re: Super and Permanent Lotay Joining Imran Khan’s PTI

This really needs to be investigated by PTI and culprits’ membership voided. We don’t want another MQM, PML-N or PPP.
