Yes, the symbol shouldn’t have been changed if the action was ‘illegal’ as you claim. I don’t know why the symbol was removed or was it only for PPP. Zia did a lot of terrible things to this country and add this one to the list.

I propose another symbol for PPP if you didn’t like the earlier one:
