Unless pakistanis are missing the point of a concert here, its usually more fun when you stand and enjoy the music. So i'd say Rs 3500 is quite a bargain, instead of paying more and having to sit with rich old uncles and aunties.
People please dont make fun of Code_Red. His words have deep rooted meanings in them. He said Bryan Adams will perform alive because in Karachi this time around he's expected to stay alive throughout the tour and not be snipered down before he flies back. Mr Adams seems to have appealed to romantic side of even us terrorists.
Khumar, it is useless to talk about keeping up to date. We're just time shifted by about 50 years in technology and 20 years in music. Believe it or not MC Hammer is still hot in Pak.

Tsk Tsk, such narrow minded statements for ppl who did only good for the poor of Pakistan, sorry state of affairs.
Bryan Adams is coming for a good cause (earthquake victims), as did Angelina Jolie and the late Princess Diana. Maybe they too should have adopted the sanctimonious, upper class attitude adopted by the likes of Dr Farhat Hashmi who have chosen to take residence in Canada and does 'gigs' in comfortable upper middle class sitting rooms.

and omg, are people in pakistan STILL living in the '80's? Bryan Adams? seriously? kya cheap rate par mil gaya tha jo woh khushi kushi wahan concert kar raha hai? if bands such as coldplay or death above 1969 can go to Japan, why can't they come to pakistan?

That's one of the stupidest post i have read recently in gupshup (and that's saying something). I guess we should all forget the Rolling Stones and The Beatles aswell since they are have-beens. If i remember correctly, rock is still alive and kicking, so what's this BS about "living in the 80's"?
Its not a country's choice as to what artists and bands should come and perform. Its their choice. Please tell me, why would current hot bands such as Coldplay come and visit Pakistan to promote their album when they could be in Tokyo performing in a much, much better facility and making thousands of hundreds of dollars?

Bryan Adams' voice is one of the best voices in the world.
He's in Pakistan for a good cause, why can't people just appreciate someone for his deeds, inspite of jumping to conclusions and judging people?
He has a great voice and he knows how to use it.
