The problem is the tie! Not the suit!

Re: Suits…
Oh, I could write an essay on ties gone wrong ![]()
Re: Suits…
You mean your eyes lingered away from the candy swirl of a tie to look at the rest of the abomination?
Re: Suits…
So let’s draw a gender line in this conversation - what do women think of guys wearing suits - yay or nay and why?
And what do guys think of other guys wearing suits - what does it say about the suited guy?
Re: Suits…
So basically, you’re saying that an ugly guy can’t pull off a suit? How narrow minded of you Contrarian…lol. The Uncle Phil comment was about the size of the man, it makes no difference, relatively speaking of course.
And Ghost don’t need no eye candy, he just looks in the mirror. :halo:
I don’t think a suit says anything. I just notice when suits are horribly tailored and baggy. Like shoulder drooping, and cuffs down to your palms. I think women like suits because if the guy is in shape, and works out, they accentuate the body shape. And they show grooming and despite what people believe, much of attractiveness is grooming.
Re: Suits…
I didn’t call him ugly…you are calling him ugly! tsk tsk
I only examplified him as a desi dude. tsk tsk
Re: Suits…
Naah brah, can’t blame the dude for wanting to please his typical desi wife, when she asked him to wear a tie to match her dupatta

True blood first episode is about Vampires buying blood from a general store. If that’s not stupid then you my friend enjoy your shows.
Re: Suits…
So this reminded me of the Sikh couple I saw strolling through the city who took matchy-matchy a bit too far.
Yes, I’ve known some Sikh men match their turban to their wife’s outfit. Red kameez worn by wife, red turban worn by husband. While it might be a bit OTT, it’s no different than men wearing matching ties to their partners dress.
But the Sikh couple took it one step too far. Wife was wearing a printed-patterned black and multi-colour kameez. And what do you know - husband’s turban was the same fabric :cb: Honestly, this was the first and only time I’ve ever seen a printed fabric turban. But you know what they say about a couple that shares their sartorial choices and closets…
Re: Suits…
Its cost effective too… They buy whole Thaan of cloth. Make BV bachion ki shalwar kameez and papa and bachon ki pugrees.
Re: Suits…
^ Funny enough, that’s precisely what we said at the time ![]()
Re: Suits…
Perhaps you need to up your lingerie swag to attract a higher caliber of exemplary desi dude.
Re: Suits…
Surely you jest! Do they exist?
Re: Suits…
He doesn’t jest, and stop calling him Shirley!
Re: Suits…
Apparently

Exemplified =/= Exemplary

Exemplary == positive.
I would have expected a contrarian to be aware of that.
Re: Suits…
Hey its no Game of Thrones, but still entertaining. Have you seen it or just calling it dumb like that?
Re: Suits…
The widely understood meaning of exemplary is positive but since you’re invoking contrarianism (didn’t expect this from a generally conformist crowd
), the question remains: do high-calibre-of-exemplary-desi-dude-who-look-good-in-suit exist?
