some of their stuff really cute!! and the prices are great too
Re: Suit Vendors on facebook - Your experiences
Does anyone know of any vendors on facebook actually selling real Threads & Motifs outfits/fabric thank u
wow that’s sooo wrong
Hi Ladies, with regards to Naz Fashion Bug....I am in Toronto. I have seen her stuff in person. Her stuff is HOTTT! not kidding. i never been to her house, but i have seen her suits at an Eid Mela recently (Ramadan) and I can tell you she was one of the best vendors because she was one of the first to showcase the Long Ponchos with satin Borders. her stuff is in high demand. Will be seeing her again hopefully this eid mela on nov 22 in markham, ontario.
Oh as for replying to her emails...she's really good with me. agree she takes a few days but her emails are very detailed and long.
Next, Sanam's Boutique is also great. I have been to Salima's house in person and have bought 2 threads and Motifs outfits. very stylish in person, the pics don't do justice. my favorite is the one that has jamawar border in contrasting color to the kameez. I will be going to her on Thursday again to see her new stuff.
BEWARE of Amil Malik!! do not buy from her, i don't know anybody as of yet who has received clothes from her and there's a group started about how she scammed at least 10 ppl that we know of. We are still trying to find out if it's legitimate that she passed away. we just don't know, and we're very upset and confused about it.
Rabia Mirza, her stuff was decently priced at the beginning of opening her group but now that she's in demand, her prices are inflated and she's really disorganized and unreliable. I have ordered from her and received them but second time was delivered a week late and i wound up not paying her because of it. she received the outfit back also.
Check out Wraps by Shazia Habib. Her stuff is nice but she doesn't display her clothing on facebook.
Re: Suit Vendors on facebook - Your experiences
Just wanted to share my experience with Urban Design Concept. She came over to Houston and did a Exhibition. The timing were frm 10-7pm, i n my cousin got their around 11:30ish and abt 10 out of 75 (40 of which were old fashion, sale stuff) outfits were gone :( collection is nice, and well priced BUT there was no bargaining (her prices are pretty reasonable so i didn't mind that). Designing is so so.
The lady (dont knw her name) wasn't the best, first thing she said to me was "i cant figure out if ur a medium or a large," i told her i wear mediums. I picked out abt 4 outfits...n went to try them on...but before i could the lady was like make sure u unzip the outfit before putting it on so u dont damage them...i thought that was soooooo rude.
But anyways, i ended up getting an outfit frm her but i dont think i wuld ever order frm her. Getting a ready made outfit is one thing but ordering and waiting for an outfit and getting bad customer service is another.
Re: Suit Vendors on facebook - Your experiences
amil malik is a scam guys do not buy from her....many have lost their money
Re: Suit Vendors on facebook - Your experiences
I have ordered 3 dresses from BIRJEEZ. They have a group on facebook by the same name, as well as the URL birjeez.com. The dresses are semi-formal, perfect for parties. Loved the stitching and embroidery!
^ Tony you are representative for Birjees.com, this kind of post only crys of desperation:smack:

UPDATE MAY 23/10 - RE: RABIA MIRZA. I realize now that without making payment up front, the order is not confirmed. to ensure your outfit is received on time from her, make payment. she did work with me several times since this misunderstanding and her outfits and fabric choices are hot. i only work with her from pakistan. i rely heavily on her. i should have updated this previously but i forgot about it. she has won me over, she always responds to my messages. from before until now, she has become a true professional in her business.

hopefully u can see them…
Re: Suit Vendors on facebook - Your experiences
My experience with Rabia Mirza: First order was 3 outfits abt a yr ago. She was nice, attentive and responsive. Prices were very reasonable. Upon receiving the clothes, I wasn't entirely thrilled. 2 were ok but the 3rd one she sent a completely different dupatta, and when i asked her abt it she said same dupattas are not always available. She never mentioned that when she charged me $10 extra for having the dupatta exactly like in the pic. Still I was new to the whole online ordering game so I didn't make a big deal. Ordered from her couple of more times and each time it was always 2-3 outfits. She slowly started ignoring emails and became unresponsive in her emails as her clientele grew and the prices as well. Her designing was not bad at all but there was always something missing in an outfit, For ex, one suit would have a stitching issue (chaulks/splits of the kamiz were not properly aligned) and the other would be fine. On my eid order (which was an original threads and motif she picked up and got stitched) there was no jamawar edging on the daman, but it was present on the collar, the sleeves etc. It was things such as those that put me off and she would never respond or apologize or try to fix those issues. Very off putting. After a while i decided to giver one more chance and ordered some more clothes from her. She assured me clothes will reach me in a month. When i received the package there were only 2 outfits when i had ordered 3. And what made me furious was one of the outfits was a completely different color then what she had sent me a pic of. not like it went from pink to hot pink, it went from yellow to peach...Did she think I wasn't going to notice the color difference??
I sent her an email inquiring abt my 3rd outfit and the wrong color and ofcourse she tells me 3rd wasn't ready and she will send it later and completely ignored my complaint abt sending the wrong color. She ignored several of my emails after that.
I decided then, i don't care how nice her "collection" may be but with that attitude I am not going to give her my business. I an all fairness, I like to give credit where it is due. Some of my stuff she sent was nice and she does have a good collection, but has a terrible attitude, bad business ethics and is utterly unreliable.
Re: Suit Vendors on facebook - Your experiences
I have mentioned this on another post before, but for those of you have not had a chance to read my review of Malaika Adnan.
I ordered from her through GS, and i was overwhelmed by the quality of her work, she gave me exactly what was advertised on her facebook page, no cutting corners on anything, I have also been to her Studio in Islamabad, she is an amazing lady. Not only does she design herself (she does not do replicas), she uses only pure fabrics, her cuts, styles, embroidery are all original and of the highest quality.
I then ordered some suits for eid, and again to say i was pleased is an injustice to her work, i was like OMG, it was fabulous!! I was over the moon :) :) She is great to work with, very realistic about time frames, will tell you outright if she cannot do it in the timeframe, will work according to your budget, and you will get the product on the date she promises.
Very professional and great to work with. I love her stuff, and have given her the whole order for my upcoming brothers wedding.
Re: Suit Vendors on facebook - Your experiences
i tried Saffas collection a couple of times, indeed her prices are reasonable and quality is great too
i received my first order a day before deadline, however second order got 3 days late, but probably that was due to heavy snow fall in Europe
