These soldiers are nothing but spare parts for their leaders. Its easy to send other people’s son and daughters to die and get blown up or end up a life long limbless individual for political, economic and social gain, whilst their own elite brats roam around like playboy millionaires, partying, getting pissed drunk and sleeping around, causing fights with people they see as inferior to them etc.. on a daily basis.

Is life in the military really worth the cheap pay and ‘help for heroes’ holidays and delusions of being a heroic actionman helping to save the world from evil..

Exactly. The social inequality and lack of opportunity forces many to join the ranks. With education so expensive, many join in hopes of getting college money. On top of that they get to defend the American way of life, whatever that is.
